My LogMate ("we", "us", "the app") is a personal record-keeping app that lets you log receipts, food, fuel, hotels, parking, notes and websites. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. We keep it simple because the app is simple: your data is yours.
Information we collect
- Account details. Your email address when you sign up. If you choose "Continue with Google", we receive your basic Google profile (name, email and avatar) to create your account.
- The logs you create. The details you enter or capture, such as titles, amounts, categories, locations, addresses, dates, notes and website links.
- Photos you upload. Receipt photos you scan and preview images for the websites you save. These are stored privately and are only visible to you.
How we use your information
Only to provide the app: to save and show your logs, total your spending, and let you search, filter and export your own data. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
AI and third-party processing
To save you typing, some features send content to trusted providers purely to process your request:
- Receipt scanning & website reading. When you scan a receipt or fetch a website, the image or page content is sent to Google (Gemini) to extract the details and write a description. It is used only to answer that request.
- Address lookup. When you paste a Maps link, it is sent to Google Maps Platform and OpenStreetMap to find the place name and address.
Where your data is stored
Your account and logs are stored in Supabase (database and private file storage), and the app is hosted on Cloudflare. Access is protected so each person can only see their own data. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share what is necessary with the service providers above (Supabase, Cloudflare, Google, OpenStreetMap) so the app can function.
Your choices and rights
- Access & export. You can view all your logs in the app and download them any time with "Download my data" (report or spreadsheet).
- Delete your account. You can delete your account from inside the app using "Delete my account". Your data is then kept for a 30-day recovery window in case you change your mind (just log back in to restore it); after 30 days your account, logs and photos are permanently and automatically removed.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, it is scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day recovery window. If you do not restore it within that time, your logs, photos and sign-in are permanently and automatically removed.
Children
My LogMate is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and post the new version on this page.
